Reishi mushroom (known as Ling Zhi in China) has been used for years to promote health and well-being. It grows primarily in Asia, especially in humid environments. It has a dark charcoal color and is bean-shaped with a red exterior.
Wild Chaga is found predominantly in the Western Hemisphere and grows on birch trees. Like Reishi, it is dark in color with a distinctive deep orange hue. The name chaga comes from the Russian word for mushroom.
