What's in Sweet Heat Chili CBD Honey?
Sweet Heat is the only CBD honey that combines fermented and fresh ingredients to create an exceptionally delicious CBD honey.
We start with aji limo paste, made with a traditional Peruvian recipe and organic limo pepper. Next up is the Thai chile, or "bird's eye chile." While Thai chiles vary in heat, they're typically about 15 times hotter than jalapeños (don't worry, we only used a touch). With a pinch of ghost pepper (why not?), this honey is rounded out with apple cider vinegar and, of course, organic wildflower honey.
How spicy is Sweet Heat?
This honey is primarily made from our Oregon wildflower honey... but it's super potent!
On a scale of 1 to 10, we'd give Sweet Heat a 6 or 7. Each taste of this honey will give you a sweet and tangy start, followed by a warm, spicy kick. It's certainly not for the faint of heart, but it won't completely mask your food!
How can I use this CBD honey?
We normally suggest adding our honey to tea. NOT THIS ONE! Unless, of course, you want a really interesting cup of tea.
Instead, we recommend using it in cooking or taking a sachet on its own. Try sprinkling it over grilled meats or vegetables, adding it to your charcuterie board, incorporating it into your sauces, topping your pizza, or infusing it into your ginger juice shots. This honey is a dynamic ingredient, so we encourage you to be adventurous. Taking honey alone is also a great health booster and will definitely clear your sinuses and perk you up.
